Also we are living in a more secular/Atheist world for last some decades ( if not centuries, atleast the western societies are ) , but we are kind of stuck or become degenerated , had world wars , slavery , colonialism , killed millions ( Hittler, Mao, Stalin were non-religious?) and we have cut ourselves into thousand pieces ( breaking families, drugs, unequal societies)

How would you defend a rationale intelligent human behavior ( starting post-renaissance) leaving us in a not so better world? Is this to be blame on religion or God?
