thanks for writing on this, in Islamic tradition every thing is a creation , Evil is also created ( source is from Satan) and Life is a test and we have free-will so its our choice if we make good decision or Evil one, Soul or Consciousness is there to help determine what is right. Now hard part is to remain steadfast and continuously re-evaluating our actions and intention.
