I guess you are confusing individuals to society , I agree most of the people in West are Open, Rational, Loving but what I was intending to talk about the society it has created and allowed those in power/politics

Root of it is materialism .. Any ways my idea of society (Islam) is not utopian its core based on Justice and Balance between people and government, man and women, parent and children, and so on

What Capitalism greed and selfishness teach is to look at yourself and your growth instead of people around you , your neighbor, relatives , nature and other species sharing the planet , .. i guess its a long discussion

Also read few medium articles in general, many American will share my view ( to a certain extent)
