Ok I give you that, missed that point where you say you are looking for truth and do not care if a few people will rip the world apart.
few logical points/questions
1) In my opinion everyone's quest will be to save the planet, make it more equal, reduce in-justice and preserve nature ( its needed for the future of humanity)
2) point 1 is more important for me than making you believe in God ( if there is no planet and everyone is fighting) we cannot have this discussion anyway
3) If we can prove that monotheism will fix this world for better; we can later debate that the way provided by the creator is necessary and we human because of our weakness ad biases cannot achieve that balance needed and hence God exist ( and its caring, just God and include all the good qualities).
4) Monotheism, if you simply search this term it will say all Abrahamic religions are Monotheism ( including a few more) , but if you see what Christianity did is make Jesus equal to God ( or made him part of its abilities) similarly Jews allowed their Rabbis to define the do's and dont's based on their understanding
Monotheism religion believes in an all-powerful God and no one cannot share its attributes, he is unique, nobody ( idol, stone, person) can help with salvation or provide anything to another person ( or increase life or cause death) ; similarly will not let anyone defined dos and don't ( for e.g make alcohol legal if text say it's not )
People can believe anything they want but if they do not believe in such a definition of God then its not a Monotheistic religion; so when I say every Prophet preached Monotheism I meant they preached about a God
1) who is all-powerful, knowing, wise, ever- existent..
2) Only has the ability to decide fate of someone after they are dead ( heaven and hell)
3) Is the only provider and sustainer in this life ( and nobody share or participates in that quality with it)
4) Can only define the major sins ( sex, drugs, gambling, usury,..) and major obligations ( prayer, fasting, ..) and nobody has the right to change it according to it will ( even Prophet)
Monotheistic religion does not mean all religions are the same, I am talking about this core concept of God and its principles. ( they can differ on ruling according to time, context, and people)
hopefully, it will help you understand; it does not mean you are ignorant or stupid It is possible you have not thought like that, or you were brought up in Christianity which does not hold Monotheistic beliefs ( though Jesus preached that).
Even though most of Muslims are just born Muslims they have not thought about what they believe is what it means in a practical sense ( the biggest sin in Islam is associating partners with God or expecting someone else to help fix an issue or provide for you) and you will find many Many Muslim committing this act without realizing ..
