No one is trying to find reality
The lies we tell ourselves and the bubble we live in will break one day, and we will find that the truth we lived and held dear was not real, but something society has built for us; and we did not try hard enough to find what is real.
The majority of humans who went through a degree major think the subject they studied is better suited to find reality and understand their lives and society at large.
But is it true?
Physics is trying to investigate the fundamental principles of the universe, including matter, energy, motion, and forces.
Chemistry is to study of the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter.
Biology is exploring the nature, structure, function, and evolution of living organisms.
Earth Science is trying to examine the Earth’s physical structure, composition, and processes, including geology, meteorology, and oceanography.
Astronomy is the study of celestial objects and phenomena, including stars, planets, galaxies, and the universe as a whole.
Environmental Science investigates the interactions between living organisms and their environment, focusing on environmental issues and solutions.
Social Sciences focuses on human behavior, society, and culture, including psychology, sociology, anthropology, and economics.
Quantum Mechanics: Investigate the fundamental principles that govern the behavior of particles at the smallest scales.
Theoretical Physics is interested in proving physics through mathematical models and engaging with concepts like string theory and the multiverse, which attempt to describe the fundamental nature of reality.
Mathematical Logic: Understand the foundations of mathematical reasoning and its implications for reality.
Neuroscience and Psychology are to study how perception, cognition, and consciousness shape our understanding of reality.
But despite making so many strides in all these fields, we are not able to create a just and fair society, racism and dehumanization still exist, billionaire sit in their high castle and are served the wine earned on behest of poor father who is not able to put a decent warm food in front of its beloved child.
Is this the reason humanity wanted to progress? Or is there a better dream worth living for?
Why cannot a child dying in Congo or Gaza hold the same value as a child dying in a Western world? Is that child biologically less human than a Western child? Does it not need food and water to survive? Or is the smile of a poor child worth less than his counterpart's?
Why is this simple concept so hard to understand, or are we sent to earth to keep living and dying in our half-truth?
If we are not able to liberate humans, to look at another human as equal and free them from the slavery of another man, then I consider all the human ideals of liberty, rule-based order, the concept of money, nationalism, war economy, and capitalism as just tools to serve the few at the expanse of weak.
On a long enough timeline, all will end; what will be left is what is real.
Now it's up to you to find what is real and strive to achieve it, or another option is to die while dividing humanity into us vs them; west vs east, white vs non-white, religion vs non-religious, native vs immigrant, and blue vs the red. The choice is yours.
I am certain that a child, a woman, an old, any non-combatant dying in war and conflict from Palestine, Ukraine, Congo, Sudan, Yemen, Kashmir, Myanmar is wrong and must be stopped, but can you do the same or you live in a cage that you cannot break yourself?
If you are weak, and live in a democratic dictatorship where the nationality of humans will decide who is worth living
Or you do not have the power to stop the innocent being killed, can you shed a tear and pray for them, but how are you sure that feeling is real? Which field of science is needed to prove that feeling or the dignity of a human life?
But if you are protesting, protest harder, if you are talking about the innocent lives, talk loudly, if you know a person in a position of power, remind them of their humanity, stop your government from ending this cycle of wars and conflicts; every life is worth saving.
Every child that dies will leave a blood stain on your soul and will ask what was the reason I served by dying; how was my death necessary to serve your country economically, and your leader to attend these international conferences where they can talk about human rights?
