Let’s Make sense of God of all Revelations
Quran describes ALLAH(God) as One and Only, all knowing and powerful and very merciful (In fact the one of his favorite attribute ALLAH(God) want to attach with himself is the Merci-fulness (Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem) ,
Quran 2:163, And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Quranic Text that explain Allah in couple of sentences,
Surat Al-Ikhlas: Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah , the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
Quran says that Allah is the one who created this world and all what is in it and all in this universe follow his command, and there is nothing that which he not knows of, he is present everywhere but he cannot be seen and he is the first and he will be the last.
Quran 6:95, Indeed, Allah is the cleaver of grain and date seeds. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded?
[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darkness’s of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know.
And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage. We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.
And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees — of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
Allah in Quran attributes all good word to him, here is a list of all those beautiful attributes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_God_in_Islam , and he demands all of us to manifest that in ourselves and our dealings, since we are a reflection of him. With all attributes of perfection he represents a concept of ultimate beauty and truth; He is the beginning and he is the end and he is the one hidden and he is the one evident. He is beyond time and space and any imagination and we know about him only through what he revealed and any spiritual experience that he reveal to us. There is nothing that happens without him knowing and without his determination.
How it make Sense:
· Allah in Quran claims that he is not different God that as being worshipped in any other major world religion today and he is the one that sends down revelation and text one after the other. So he is the only revealer of all the major world religion which is Abrahamic which include Christian, Jews and Muslims.
· He is one and only which means there is no competing power; which explains why everything in this universe works in order and in a systematic rhythm, else there will be chaos and trouble like witness between nation states.
· If we look around systematic order of things how planet and universe are working, water cycle on earth; different species of plants and animals, they all demands that there is a being that is bigger and better and a creator. Can any system (let alone the complex system of this universe) can came into existence itself without someone doing any math and physics around it and is able to sustain itself for centuries without someone taking care of it
Concept of ultimate beauty and truth is much desirable by human, to love an ideal , that is why humans from their inception has been trying to quest and associate these love with different ideals like race, nations, tribes, leaders and sexes.
