In my limited understanding of Christianity history, its always is the case , for e.g Paul introduced his concept of trinity, original sin, Constantinople used it for consolidating power , Pope used power of forgiveness to gain control and authority ( and is main reason for Reformation) , there is prosperity Bible to get you more money and Scofield Bible to make someone Chosen and Rapture to happen . So when people did not stop writing or adding these ideas into Bible ( to gain power, authority, or fame) who would stop Pastor with human weakness.

Also can we please spread these Palestinians Christian letter so we might be able to stop this madness happening in Palestine, not sure if Evangelicals will have the heart to sympathize with them or their idea of salvation is everything to them
