To my limited knowledge, philosophers and thinker in Muslim world have been writing about reconciling the mind to the religious text and onto the society like ibn arabi, ibn khaldun, ghazali, shah waliullah , Iqbal and great deal of Germans philosophers are influenced by it too. But due to decline in major Muslim population they have stopped producing original thinkers and hence the process of reconciliation and producing meaning to current values structure has stopped. I strongly believe that Islamic religious text can produce meaning and values we desire to be happy and satisfied.
