I don't see much of a solution in your piece, much of what has happened is because progressive society put their trust in rationality, libertarianism, and individuality and it is a perfect recipe of a disunited society than Capitalism started the rat race to misuse the other human and nature just to get ahead of the next person materially.

I agree we need more Conscious individuals, who can see past their own being and own this world, and history and care for the other person before making the choice but do not think no more rationality can do it

I think a true monotheistic religion can still serve us and get us closer to a better society
