I agree that human greed has personified today form of capitalism but capitalism itself is not bad ; I think in general human need balance ; some we can achieve by rationality, some we learn by hit and trails, in my view religions supposedly fix the issue with capitalism by two verdicts, by banning usury/interest ( in return promoting handwork) making charity obligatory ( giving away an amount that one is able to save over an year)

we are able to corrupt religion with our greed as well, in my understanding we will be in a lot better shape and in harmony with nature if we were able to identify the monotheistic God
