having a detail conversation with a Christian friend; if some one want to follow along (https://mfakhar2000.medium.com/i-agree-we-should-seek-out-truth-and-find-god-and-constantly-build-on-that-relationship-433247b0809c)

I think main problem is Jesus taught monotheism and never claimed divinity ( or say worship me) but over the time Christianity changed so much that historical Jesus is mile away from current Jesus ; and over time it got complex with different interpretation , prosperity bible, Scofield bible, ..)

In my humble opinion , faith alone cannot get salvation so for salvation to happen on day of resurrection we will judged by

right faith( monotheism) ; than good actions; than minus or addition of good deeds based on how we treated other ( it’s quite possible that if mistreated other or do not provided other due right our good deeds will be subtracted and added to others account); judgement based on actions, and even after that God blessing is required for salvation

its quite possible that some one with lots of good deeds will do fairly bad than with some one with less good deeds , actions are judged based on intention , circumstances , ability of person and that is real justice ( and only all powerful God can do that)

also we should seek out truth and find God and constantly build on that relationship

Jesus never claimed divinity , even concept like trinity , original sin were later introduced

even he said i was send to Jews and it was mainly Paul who opened up Christianity for gentails

https://biblehub.com/matthew/15-24.htm

Then Jesus said to the woman, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep—the people of Israel.”

https://biblehub.com/matthew/15-24.htm

31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, ” declares the LORD.

33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Basic theology of all Abrahamic religion is simple: monotheism and we the human weakness (of lust, power, salvation, .. ) have made it complex and it can be defined as

God is one, is all powerful and knowing, merciful, and sustainer ( https://www.islamicity.org/covers/99-names-of-allah/), it does intervene and hold the world together, does not show up else it will defeat free will

Have sent down great Prophets Jesus, Moses, Noah, Muhammad, and many more some with books and others with guidance, all preached monotheism.

We have weaknesses and life is a test to go against those weaknesses, by holding on to the One and asking for help.

Satan (and its party) are our enemies, it wants to divide humans and make them busy and keep them busy fighting each other.

Life is a test; all acts are recorded, and we are judged based on it.

Truth and Beauty are human endeavors, if one follows them and tries to implement them will find God.

We are humans, not animals and we have a consciousness that guides us, but we need to keep the above endeavor and will help keep a sound heart and God will guide us.

Humans are vicegerent (of the One) to this world, and they have been given the ability and luxury to explore this world and universe and make it useful for themselves.

Any group of humans (family, tribe, society) can only survive if it is based on justice; otherwise, corruption will enter it and eventually, it will be destroyed.

There are sets of dos and don’ts, don’t is pretty much common in all Abrahamic religions (alcohol, interest, fornication, eating kosher), other than it demands certain obligations (do’s) which vary between them; but the general ruling and guidance, appeal to human morality by promoting to speak the truth, being honest, clean, fulfill obligations, don’t break blood relationship, love your neighbor,…

Try to stop bad from happening, try to do it with your hand, if not then with your tongue, and if not at least consider it bad in your heart.

There is more to it, but the above covers mostly the basics, and it's quite simple.
